Nikon SLM Solutions and Interspectral Partner to Deliver Advanced Quality Assurance and Process Monitoring for Metal Additive Manufacturing

Interspectral and Nikon SLM Solutions, a global OEM leader in metal additive manufacturing, have announced a strategic partnership to deliver an advanced, integrated quality assurance and process monitoring solution for industrial metal additive manufacturing (AM).
The collaboration connects Interspectral’s AM Explorer software with Nikon SLM Solutions’ open-architecture metal AM platforms, providing users with real-time data visualization, process insight, and AI-powered analytics- all designed to accelerate qualification, improve repeatability, and simplify certification workflows in industries such as aerospace, energy, and defense.
The partnership is rooted in Interspectral’s AM Explorer platform, proven in demanding industrial settings worldwide. Customers such as GKN Aerospace are already realizing its value in advancing towards serial production using the NXG platform through improved traceability and reduced process variability.
