Interspectral presents partnership with SLM Solutions a Metal 3D printer OEM at Formnext 2022

Interspectral and SLM Solutions, a leading metal additive manufacturing OEM, have entered a license and distribution agreement that will make it possible for SLM Solutions customers to fully integrate Interspectral’s solution AM Explorer in their workflow.

The addition of SLM Solutions in our OEM partnership program is an important step for Interspectral to empower process monitoring and provide a holistic view for the entire additive manufacturing industry. By doing deep integration with Metal 3D printer OEMs on the market we can enhance our offer and create an improved value for the end users.

Isabelle Hachette, CEO at Interspectral

AM Explorer, developed by Interspectral, is an OEM agnostic 3D visualization software that makes it possible for end users to create multi-channel digital twins from design, simulation, monitoring, and post-build part analysis data collected during the AM process.

Now with AM Explorer and the SLM.Quality API, customers to SLM Solutions will be able to explore and analyze all data generated during the build process together with other data from both the design and simulation phase and post-build inspection.

We have already today several SLM customers using AM Explorer to analyze process monitoring data. Now with the partnership with SLM Solutions and with the integration of the SLM.Quality API we will be able to provide an enhanced workflow and improved user experience for quality assurance,” says Isabelle Hachette, CEO at Interspectral.

At Formnext (Booth 12.1 G120) Interspectral will demonstrate a use case featuring SLM Solutions monitoring data. The demonstration will be based on data from the Swedish research institute RISE and features SLM Solutions process data, 3D laser scanning data, CT data, and more.
