Innovation grant to Interspectral

Interspectral has been awarded a grant by Sweden’s government agency for innovation (Vinnova) to carry out a project with the aim to develop the next generation of digital educational experiences. The project aims to make real scientific 3D data accessible for all education levels on any device.

Until June 2020, the grant will contribute to the development of Interspectral’s software Inside Explorer towards classroom teaching in a co-creation development project together with teachers and students at six schools in east Sweden.

The aim of the project is to identify how teachers and students want and can use Inside Explorer as digital teaching material for studies from primary to secondary level and specialist educations.

The project constitutes an important development step for Interspectral as it allows identifying multiple usage areas for Inside Explorer and will reflect on further development possibilities within several market segments outside of education as well.

“We are looking forward to this co-creation process together with both teachers and students and to adapt and develop Inside Explore. We are so grateful for this opportunity to evaluate Inside Explorer for education in the digital development that is happening here and now”

Louise Lennersten, CEO
