Advanced in-situ melt pool monitoring, and AI driven powder bed analysis now supports AddUp customers in everyday work – See it in action at Formnext
AddUp and Interspectral in the recent year developed a powerful data visualization solution based on AM Explorer that allow AddUp customers to analyze monitoring data in a new and more efficient way. The solution is now in production generating value in everyday work. See it live at Formnext!
With AM Explorer AddUp customers can fuse data from the AddUp monitoring suite, one of the most comprehensive on the market, and create a digital twin that can be used for a large variety of applications within both product and process development and serial production.
“In AM Explorer, our customers gain powerful access to all monitoring data from our printers, including condition monitoring, advanced AI-driven powder bed analysis, and melt pool monitoring data. Furthermore, they have the flexibility to integrate other data sources, such as simulations and post-build inspections, such as CT scans or in-house quality control systems,” remarked Mathieu Roche , Marketing & Technology Manager at AddUp.
A unique feature for AddUp customers is the in-situ access to the meltpool data. Through a deep integration between AM Explorer and the AddUp machines end users can explore Terabyte large datasets in 3D already during the build.
“Melt pool monitoring data has posed challenges for the entire industry due to the sheer data volumes generated. Machine builders have faced difficulties in developing efficient useable software for end-users,” explained Isabelle Hachette, CEO at Interspectral. “Now, through our deep integration with AddUp, we offer their customers direct and interactive access to this extensive data – both in real-time and post-build, providing them with a comprehensive overview and the ability to examine minute details at the micron level.”
This cutting-edge solution will be officially showcased at Formnext, scheduled for November 7th to 10th. To see this technology in action, we encourage you to book a live demo and visit Interspectral’s booth at Hall 12.1, Booth A81.
